We are a full-service design shop providing quality service to residential, industrial, and commercial clients on the western slope. We offer stone and solid surface countertops, tile, cabinetry, fixtures, sinks, appliances, and much more! From remodeling to new construction, from a living room, kitchen or bath to a high-tech office, our fabricators and expert installers are dedicated to working with you to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

Our state of the art fabrication shop employs digital templating, utilizing the FARO Laser ScanArm, GeoMagic and GibbsCAM machining software, and an Omag CNC machine carrying tolerances to the thousandth of the inch.

The Fabrication Process & Services:

Proper planning prior to the construction phase of a project ensures high-quality results. During the planning phase, we:

~ Establish a detailed construction schedule highlighting all activities including purchasing, fabrication, shop drawing production, and installation.

~ Order and expedite the delivery of all material.

~ Prepare, implement, and subcontract agreements and purchase orders.

Why Us?

Northwood Sawjet (Automated saw and waterjet system)

Our Sawjet offers the flexability of a sixty thousand PSI abrasive Waterjet and a direct drive automated SmartSaw. Digital information is input into the computer and the material is then cut to size utilizing a combination of the saw and waterjet. Any configuration can be easily manufactured. Curves, 45 degree miters, sink cut outs, designs, etc. can be programed into the system to give a clean, fast, and professional final product.

CNC Fabrication:

All seams, as well as our edges, are done with a Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machine. This reduces chipping and seam visibility, creates perfect radii, and straight edging. Other shops use grinders, skilsaws, or bridge saws for fabrication. This can result in a wandering edge profile, uneven or wide seams, and bad reveals.

FARO Digital Templating:

We use a FARO Laser ScanArm in conjunction with Geomagic and GibbsCAM softwarefor templating angles, radii, and other challenging pieces. This ensures that your stone fits right and tight.

Vacuum Seams:

Accent on Tops uses vacuum clamps in order to create the tightest, least visible, and most even seams possible. Other shops still do their seams by hand.

Wet Fabrication:

All of our fabrication is done wet. This reduces chipping, creates even and consistent polish, provides a safe work environment, and increases efficiency. The water used in this process is recaptured utilizing an environmentally friendly grey water system.

~ The Cosmos granite that we used in the kitchen is a difficult stone to work with as its layers have a tendency to flake. The bull-nose edge is nicely finished and the slabs are skillfully seamed. The stone itself is beautiful beyond words.
